Your Guide to Dockage for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
By Tal Fox Amit · May 20, 2026 · 4 min read
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show draws thousands of vessels, here's how to secure dockage before it sells out.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is the largest in-water boat show in the world, held each fall. It's spectacular, and it makes dockage scarce across the city for the surrounding weeks.
Book early, really early
Slips near the show fill months ahead. If you're bringing a vessel for the show or just want to be in town for it, reserve as far in advance as you can.
Where to dock
Las Olas, Harbor Beach, and the New River put you closest to the action with deep water and quick inlet access. Areas like Lighthouse Point and Dania Beach offer alternatives a short cruise away.
Plan for demand
Expect premium pricing and limited availability during show week. A monthly lease spanning the show can be both easier to secure and better value than night-by-night.
Let us find your slip
Tell FoxStays your vessel and dates and we'll match you with verified dockage for Boat Show season, before it's gone.
