How to report content that infringes your copyright, and what to do if yours was removed.

This notice explains how to tell FoxStays Docks that something posted on this site infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your own content was taken down.
1. Our policy
FoxStays Docks respects the rights of photographers, writers, and other creators. The Services let owners and renters upload photos, videos, and reviews. We ask everyone to upload only what they created or have permission to share.
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). When we receive a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material, and we may tell the person who posted it.
2. How to report infringing content
Send our designated agent (section 3) a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your full legal name, and a physical or electronic signature (typing your name is fine).
- A description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed. If several works are involved, a representative list is fine.
- The exact web address (URL) of each page where the material appears on our site, so we can find it.
- Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
3. Our designated agent

4. What happens next
If your notice is complete, we will act on it promptly. We may remove or disable the material and pass a copy of your notice, including your contact details, to the person who posted it. If a notice is missing required information, we may ask you for it before we act.
Please do not send a notice unless you are sure. A person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are unsure whether something is infringing, consider speaking with a lawyer first.
5. Counter-notice: if your content was removed
If we removed something you posted and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to post it, you can send our designated agent a counter-notice that includes all of the following:
- Your full legal name, and a physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if you live outside the United States, any judicial district where FoxStays Docks LLC can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
6. After a counter-notice
We will send a copy of your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action against you, we may restore the material about 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.
7. Repeat infringers
It is our policy to end the access of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances. We may remove uploaded content, close accounts, and stop accepting listings or reviews from anyone who is the subject of repeated valid copyright notices. We may take these steps without notice, and we keep a record of the notices and counter-notices we receive.
