Monthly vs. Nightly Dockage in South Florida: Which Saves You More?

When a monthly dock lease beats paying nightly, and how to decide based on your cruising plans.
If you're staying more than a couple of weeks, how you pay for dockage matters as much as the rate itself. Here's how nightly and monthly pricing compare in South Florida.
Nightly dockage
Nightly rates give you maximum flexibility and are ideal for a transient stay, a weekend, or a quick stop during a delivery. The trade-off is a higher effective per-foot cost, and availability can tighten during the Boat Show and peak season.
Monthly & seasonal leases
Booking by the month locks in your slip and typically lowers your effective nightly cost. For snowbirds and long-term cruisers, a seasonal lease (often November–April) is usually the most economical option and guarantees your spot through the busy months.
A simple rule of thumb
If you'll be in one area for roughly three weeks or more, ask for a monthly quote, it often costs less than the equivalent nights booked individually. If your plans are short or flexible, nightly keeps you nimble. Not sure? Tell us your dates and we'll price it both ways so you can compare.
